Usage
6-12 months
Tie the phone to your babys crib, stroller bar, or the Tiny Love Super Car-Bar so that she can encounter the toy in different places.
Press the sound buttons for your baby so that she can see the toys possibilities.
When she puts the phone to her ear, verbalize the action: 'Are you talking on the phone?', 'Hello, Hello' and so on.
12-24 months
Show your toddler the shapes and colors on the buttons (either the shapes or the colors, since toddlers find it difficult to grasp two dimensions of the same stimulus, for example a red circle).
When she puts the phone to her ear, join her in the game and hold an imaginary conversation with her.
A multi-sensory play experience
Babys Cell Phone develops the senses with various sounds, including real telephone sounds, a variety of materials (plastic and cloth) and colorful buttons.
Fine motor skills
Babys Cell Phone encourages baby to press the buttons in order to hear the sounds. Pressing with a few fingers on the earpiece, and with a single finger on the individual buttons, develops control over the fingers as well as hand-eye coordination.
Cognition
Babys Cell Phone develops understanding of the link between an action (pressing) and the result (the sound), and encourages pretend games and copying of adults when baby mimics her parents talking on the phone as she puts the phone to her ear.
6-12 months
Baby holds the phone, examines it with her hands and mouth, and feels the various textures. She presses the buttons to hear the realistic sounds. At about the age of nine months, she will begin to put the phone to her ear, mimicking her parents or caregivers.
12-24 months
Baby gains better control of her hands and manages to use the phone easily. She enjoys making the real-like sounds and talking on the phone like her parents or caregivers. She begins noticing colors and shapes and discovers the colorful shapes on the buttons.
