A multi-sensory play experience
The Pull-Along Pal develops the toddler spatial perception with a variety of visual scenarios that require sharp discrimination and attention to detail: reflections, completing geometric shapes, completing images, and more. A variety of sounds and textures stimulate his sense of hearing and touch, and the coordination between them.

Fine Motor Development
The Pull-Along Pal includes a variety of activities that require the toddler to use his fingers in different ways, such as using all his fingers to push on the snail's head to hear the sound, or using one finger to make the bear jump. These serve to perfect his fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Gross Motor Development
As soon as he has acquired basic walking skills, the toddler can learn to accomplish another task while walking, such as pulling the toy. In order to pull the toy, he must be able to walk with one hand slightly behind him and to glance backwards while in motion. This helps him to improve control over his steps, and offers enjoyable encouragement to continue experiments while in motion.

Cognitive Skills
The Pull-Along Pal develops cognitive skills in a variety of ways. It develops an understanding of causal relationships, with activities that provide intriguing feedback that encourage the toddler to experiment over and over again. The toy also encourages imaginative play. As the toddler pulls the snail behind him, he feels he can cause someone to follow him.

Object Permanence
The Pull-Along Pal offers several games that allow the toddler to explore the concept of object permanence. The bear jumps when the button is pressed, the rabbit and snail play hide-and-seek, and the monkey disappears when the lion appears. Even the geometric shapes disappear and reappear again and again as they turn the small wheel.

The snail's large, smiling face invites the toddler to play and pull it along, and to open his heart to make it a friend that he wants to bring with him everywhere. When he pulls the snail along, he must relate to it and its needs ?Is the snail following? Does it need help? This developing relationship helps the toddler to learn about caring for the needs of others, and fosters his emotional development and well-being.

The Pull-Along Pal helps develop several developmental elements concurrently, and fosters gradual development of each. The toy invites the toddler to explore its features while developing his memory concerning the location of each one. He learns about each activity, how it is done or manipulated, and what feedback to expect. He perfects his fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and improves control over his fingers and hands while using them to play with the different activities. The toddler also develops his senses as he gazes in the mirror at the reflections, listens to the sounds, and feels the different textures. And as he improves his walking skills, he enjoys pulling his loyal friend, the snail, everywhere he goes.
