The Senses
The smiling face and vibrant colours stimulate baby¡¯s sight.
A variety of sounds develop baby¡¯s hearing.
A combination of various materials (different fabrics, soft plastic teether, smooth and rough plastic rings) stimulate baby to explore with his hands and mouth, developing his sense of touch.
By using his hands to explore and play with the Chic Chick, baby develops not just his senses but the coordination between them as well.
Fine Motor Skills
Chic Chick provides your baby with many opportunities to use his fingers and hands, such as holding the chick with his entire hand, pulling the baby chick, pressing with some of his fingers or using just two fingers (pincer grasp) to perform some kind of activity.
Chic Chick encourages using both hands such as holding the chick in one hand and pulling the baby chick with the other.
Object Permanence
When the top half of the Chic Chick is lifted, baby will find a cute little baby chick hiding in its tummy. This action of finding and hiding creates a fascinating and enjoyable game of peek-a-boo.
This peek-a-boo game contributes to your baby¡¯s understanding that objects continue to exist even when he doesn¡¯t see them.
Cognition
The Chic Chick encourages exploration using the hands and mouth.
It encourages learning the connection between baby¡¯s actions and the results, for example, pulling the baby chick makes it jitter; pressing the Chic Chick¡¯s foot makes a fun sound, pulling on one leg, makes the other one go in, and more.
