Do Clek booster seats expire?

The Clek Oobr Booster along with all Clek Car Seats have an expiration of 9 years from their date of manufacture. 

When can a child stop sitting in a car booster seat?

The Clek Oobr Booster can be used until the child is 100lbs or is taller than 57”.  However, please check your local regulations on when your child can be in the car without any car seat attachments.

When should I move out of the 5 point harness?

You can transition from a 5-point harnessed car seat to a seat belt booster seat when the child has met the minimum height and weight requirements for your local area. Typically, this means after 4 years old at minimum but will depend on your child’s weight, height and maturity level. 

How do I know when my child is ready for a booster seat?

The Clek Oobr can be used when the child is at least 4 years old, and meets the minimum height and weight limits. 

Does Oobr turn into a backless Booster?

Yes, the Clek Oobr can be converted into a backless booster when your child reaches an age where extra head support is no longer necessary.
